- 5 / 5By Jeff WernerTons of great teas, kombucha, etc. They always have one or two *amazing* homemade desserts behind the bar. A huge, comfortable, dimly lit space with lots of character (used to be an eagle's lodge or something like that). The Irish sessions on Tuesdays are fun. I know the name is weird, but no this is not religious or culty or anything. It's just regular friendly Ithaca hippies. The cult place is called Mate Factor. Sacred Root Kava is nice and has nothing to do with them. Sacred Root Kava has gone out of its way since it opened to host all kinds of wonderful local music and community events. Oh, and they have kava. I don't care for the stuff, but if you like kava, they have multiple varieties of that as well, in shells, with pineapple slices.January 10, 2017
