  World-class sushi! The service is average, though attentive, but you're coming here for the excellent sushi. They also serve cooked and traditional Asian cuisine, which is top notch, but the sushi here is the best in Ithaca. Hand rolls, specialty rolls, nigiri, and unique appetizer creations make this a guaranteed hit.

  I really, really, like their salad bar, which has carrots, olives, cucumber, croutons, and the best ginger dressing. This is one of the main reasons I go here instead of Sumo. Sumo's salads are way too small, although their ginger dressing tastes better than Mitsuba's since it is creamier. Mitsuba sometimes gives you a complementary appetizer, which is very tasty. Their staff is very friendly. They cook your food quickly. I am in and out in under 30 minutes usually. I do wish Mitsuba put more fried vegetables in their Binto boxes (such as long cut zucchini and mushrooms) like Sumo does.
